Greg Hausken is the President and Co-Owner of Mountainvew Home Health. Greg received his training at NW University and has been a Physical Therapist for nearly 40 years. He served as the Director of MVHH from its inception until 2020 when he stepped down to serve on the Governing Board. Greg enjoys hiking, biking, and snow skiing in his free time. He has four grown children, two of whom are in the medical profession. One is a physician and the other is a Physical Therapist.

I have lived most of my life here in Yakima, Washington, enjoying the fruits of the valley. My husband and I have raised our children here and now our grandchildren are being raise here. I graduated from YVC Nursing school in 1997 and have been working as a RN in the valley ever since. Working in settings from hospital to community health clinics, nursing homes to home health. My love of nursing and caring for patients motivated me to go back to school to advance my degree. Working full time and attending Gonzaga University on-line, I was able to get my Master’s Degree. Since 2014, I have work for Mountainview Home Health, starting as a field RN Case Manager and now the Clinical Director of Nursing. Our team at Mountainview Home Health is a group of amazing, caring clinicians. My husband and I enjoy riding our Harley Davison Motorcycles in our spare time and traveling. I also enjoy gardening and caring for our 122 year old farmhouse.

Jackie was born and raised in Drumheller Alberta Canada where part of her family still resides. Jackie completed her BScOT at the University of Alberta in 1995 where she was also recognized as an Academic All Canadian swimmer. Jackie moved to the Yakima Valley in the summer of 1995 where she began her career in Pediatrics. Jackie has had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including SNF, Pediatrics, Outpatient Industrial Rehab and then eventually joined Mountainview Home Health in 2015. Jackie completed her executive MBA at the University of Washington in 2008 and has had the opportunity to manage and own health care teams within acute settings, outpatient settings and now in the Home Health setting. Jackie has 2 boys, John (20) who runs his own trucking company Grizzly Hauling in Puyallup WA, and Mikey (19) who is a freshman playing football for the University of Montana. Jackie loves all outdoor sports including skiing, hiking and paddle boarding as well as spending as much time with her two boys, friends and family.

Sheryl has 21 years’ experience in Home Health and 35 years’ experience in the medical field. Her background is billing and finance. She has been at Mountainview Home Health since the beginning and is very proud of her work family. Born and raised in Yakima she has lived here all her life except for a couple years in Seattle and Illinois. She is close to her family and enjoys spending time with them and her three dogs. She believes “The only way to do great work is to love what you do"

In 1995, Gerald received his BS in Physical Therapy from the University of Washington. In 1982, his BS in Zoology (Wildlife Biology) from Washington State University and graduated West Valley High School in 1977. Jerry has worked in multiple therapy settings in the Yakima region for over 27 years. This includes outpatient clinical settings, inpatient at Providence Yakima Regional Hospital, inpatient rehabilitation at Yakima Regional Hospital, Quest Therapy for rehabilitation at multiple nursing homes, and ultimately at Mountainview Home Health. Jerry’s personal interests are boating, camping, wine tasting and playing volleyball in Yakima City league for over 20 years. Jerry previously worked for the WSU Wildlife Biology department for 10 years prior to going back to school for his degree in PT. Jerry specifically worked with the Grizzly bear program, research on caribou, moose, deer, elk, fish, and beaver.

Ann has been a physical therapist for the past 24 years with more than 22 years of experience in Home Healthcare. Having experience in outpatient clinics, schools, hospitals, and rehab centers she has always found working in home care the most rewarding. Currently working in the role as Clinical Rehab Director, Ann enjoys the blend of patient care and administrative duties allowing her to work closely with the fun and talented group of therapists at Mountainview. She graduated from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque where she grew up playing sports with her 4 brothers. Ann arrived to Yakima as a traveling therapist in 2006 and quickly felt a connection to the Yakima Valley with the beautiful scenery, countless great outdoor activities and kind, friendly folks. Ann takes great pleasure in helping people increase strength and move with more confidence so they can get back to doing the important activities in life. In her free time Ann enjoys working out with friends, playing golf, and finding adventure with her grandson. A highlight this past year was getting a hole in one!

Ashley was born and raised in the Yakima area, she graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and moved back to the valley to work at Mountainview Home Health. After sustaining multiple ACL and knee injuries from college soccer at Saint Martin’s University, Ashley decided to pursue a career in Physical Therapy and attend Graduate School. Her hobbies include hiking, fishing, boating, water/snow skiing and spending time with her family, friends, and fur-babies. Ashley loves to give back to her hometown community and provide compassionate care with a functional approach to improve her patient’s overall quality of life

Celeste first joined Mountainview Home Health in 2016, then left to travel for 3 years before returning to Mountainview in 2022. She has 21 years’ experience as a physical therapist in multiple settings, including acute care, burn and wound care and 18 combined years in the home health setting. Celeste was the managing co-editor and chapter contributor/author of the recently released book PT in the Home, sponsored by APTA Home Health Section. She is an active member in the APTA and a member of the Geriatrics, Home Health, Acute and Clinical Electrophysiology and Wound Care Academics. She obtained her clinical doctorate in 2015 and is currently working toward her wound care certification. When Celeste isn’t traveling, moving, or writing, you can often find her enjoying nature, doing a variety of crafts, or attempting to learn a new skill. She has 2 children and 3 grandchildren with one more on the way!

Cindy comes to MVHH with 24 years of experience working in acute and out-patient hospital-based clinics, assisted living, aquatic therapy, and skilled nursing settings, working with varied aged patients from pediatrics to geriatrics. Cindy earned her PT master’s degree at Idaho State University. With continuing education in several areas including manual techniques for low back pain, techniques to reduce balance deficits, strengthening techniques to correct weakness and to correct vertigo. She is excited to assist with increasing patient’s independence in their home setting. Her compassionate and caring personality allow her to be sensitive to patient’s needs, but firm enough to encourage them to push themselves to progress. She loves quilting, gardening, hiking and family time. She is very active in her church callings and serving others.

Hi! My name is Gina Helsel. I am from Lansing, Michigan and graduated from Central Michigan University where I first completed my BS in Athletic Training and my Doctorate of Physical Therapy. I met my husband, Ian, in PT school, and after graduation we decided to do some exploring and accept travel positions. Our first job assignments brought us to the Pacific Northwest. We initially intended on touring the West Coast and making our way back to Michigan, but eventually decided to make our time in Washington permanent! I have two dogs, Klaus and Nelson. I enjoy spending time in my plant room, playing with my dogs, yoga, kayaking, gardening, and exploring new places in Washington.

Katie comes to Mountainview Home Health with 9 years of experience as a PT in various settings including acute care, inpatient neurologic rehab, and skilled nursing rehab. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City graduating in 2013. In 2021 she earned her certification as a stroke rehab specialist. She finds that working in the home health setting is one of the most functional and rewarding settings to work in and enjoys being able to help people thrive and stay in their own homes. She is originally from Minnesota, but her time in Utah is where she fell in love with the mountains and the outdoors. Yakima and its surrounding areas allow her to continue to enjoy all those outdoor activities including hiking, camping, backpacking, trail running, hiking, skiing and kayaking.

Lynda joined MVHH in January 2021 with 24 years’ experience working as an Occupational Therapist. She has experience in a variety of settings including outpatient therapy, nursing homes, inpatient rehabilitation, hospital, and school therapy services. Lynda received her OT degree through the University of Alberta and has worked in various cities around Canada and the USA. Lynda enjoys working with patients in their home and helping them to become as independent as possible and allow for maximal quality of life. She enjoys helping patients who have suffered neurological injuries to recover and be able to return to independent living. Outside of work she enjoys training for and racing in triathlons, spending time with her family and gardening

Lindsey graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and currently holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency through the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. While at EMU, she was on the varsity rowing team, which helped instill a strong sense of teamwork, commitment, leadership, and optimism. Since graduating, Lindsey has had experience as an SLP in various settings including acute care, inpatient rehab, skilled nursing rehab, home health, and TBI/brain injury rehab. She has completed training and certification in VitalStim Therapy (neuromuscular stimulation for dysphagia rehab). Lindsey specializes in dysphagia (swallowing problems), but also enjoys working with patients with various communication, voice, and cognitive impairments. She loves being able to create functional goals with patients and their caregivers and families, so that they can thrive in their home environments. Lindsey grew up in Michigan and on a whim, decided to go on an adventure to Washington for ‘just a year’...9 years later and she is still here! In her free time, Lindsey loves to travel, hike, kayak, attend concerts, tend to her house plants, and craft. If you see Lindsey out in the wild, you will frequently see her with her sidekick Isla, who is currently working to become a therapy dog...like mother like daughter!

I have been a nurse for 14 years; I started as a Nursing Assistant Certified. I have always wanted to be a nurse. I have worked in nursing homes, assisted living, memory care and in a rehabilitation unit. What I enjoy most is helping with wound care. Working at Mountainview has been the best experience for me. I have honestly never worked with a more caring company with the upmost professional coworkers in my life. God has blessed me tremendously. In my spare time I love to ride on our motorcycle.

Denise came to us from Tacoma where she attended Tacoma Community College and later Bates Technical College. Her work experience includes working in Med-Surgery and Pediatrics at Tacoma General Hospital. Prior to this, she worked in Bellingham, Lincoln Neb, Houston, and San Diego. She was a travelling nurse before and it was cool! Her favorite thing to do in her spare time is sharing thoughts with like-minded individuals on Facebook.

My name is Keith Wick, I have been a physical therapist assistant since 2001. I moved from Montana in 2002 where I grew up on a farm with my six siblings. I have three children, and what I enjoy most is spending time with them, skiing, fishing, hiking, and all the fantastic things that Washington has to offer. My personal passion, however is anything handyman or mechanic. I love classic cars, and currently have my garage filled with projects that I tinker on from day to day. As a physical therapist assistant, I began my career at Providence Hospital, moonlighting at multiple nursing homes around the valley, and later being settled at Mountainview Home Health. I have worked for Mountainview Home Health for over 10 years, and have never once felt abandoned, or on my own. I honestly feel that my coworkers are like family, and I am lucky to have found a job that I can call home.

I was born and raised in Yakima. I graduated from the only Physical Therapist Assistant program in Washington in1979. My first job was in Puyallup in an outpatient clinic then moved to King County where I worked in acute care and outpatient PT. I began working in home health in 1995 which was the best job change I ever made! I remember the exact date because the same day I got my MRI results back confirming I had Multiple Sclerosis. Fortunately, I have one of the best Neurologist in the Northwest at the Swedish MS Center and 23 years later I am still working in home health which I love. I had the opportunity to go on a mission trip to Uganda in 2004 with World Impact Network. I spent a. week at the physical therapy school in Kampala assisting with training by a PT in our group. The students had never heard of a total hip or knee replacement, that was not a surgical option like we have in the U.S. The people were so happy and grateful to see us. One woman who had a stroke was living on the floor of her home waiting for weeks for the Uganda Health District to provide her a wheel chair. Visiting the hospital in Kampala made me appreciate what we have in the U.S. I returned to Yakima in 2009 to take care of my mom who had dementia. That was the biggest challenge of my life. It is one thing working with patients with dementia but when it is your parent ...... She died 4 years ago and I have remained living in the family home that my great grandfather built in 1916.

Nicole is a native to the Yakima Valley and has had the opportunity to return to the Yakima Valley to provide Physical Therapy to the community that she grew up in and loved. Nicole graduated from Green River Community college with her degree in Physical Therapy Assistant and then graduated from Ashford University with her BA in Healthcare Administration. Nicole has years of experience providing physical therapy in a variety of settings including orthopedic, return to sport, inpatient and home health. As a true native to the Yakima Valley, Nicole spends her free time enjoying the outdoors. Nicole spends most of her time riding horses, going to rodeos and spending weekends at the lake.

Olivia has been a PTA with Mountainview since Spring of 2021. She enjoys working in the home setting to help her patients regain the strength and independence that allows them to thrive at home. She has a background in skilled nursing therapy setting and loves seeing functional and practical progress towards independent living. Olivia graduated from Whatcom Community College in Bellingham, WA in 2017. She also has her Bachelors of Exercise Science from Grand Valley State University in Michigan. Her specialties are focused on graded exercises, fall prevention, and home adaptations. Olivia is originally from Northern Michigan but moved to Washington for school where she met her husband, Kevin. They have a baby girl and two dogs, and like to spend their weekends hiking.

I have always had an interest in working in Healthcare and I was extremely fortunate to stumble upon such a terrific place to work! I came to Mountainview HH in March 2014 after working for St Elizabeth/Providence/Regional HH for 23 years. This company is great and it Rocks! Born and raised in Yakima. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, music, theatre, travel, swimming, sports (Go Hawks and Mariners.). I take great pride in my family heritage. My parents owned and operated Kemper's Drive-In for years feeding many people wonderful 19 cent burgers with special red relish and hot sacks of fries. So proud of their hard work. I am living my best life doing things I enjoy, since never know where life will take you. My advice, enjoy every moment and be kind.

I joined Mountainview Home Health in 2021 as a Staff Assistant. I have worked in various office settings, but I enjoy working in the health field the most because I like to help people. My most recent employment was in a nursing home and a retirement home. I grew up in the Naches area, where I reside now. I went to college at Yakima Valley Community College, in which I obtained an Associates Degree in secretarial studies. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, going for walks, and spoiling my 5 cats and 1 dog.

I started this journey in the medical billing and coding world 11 years ago when I graduated From Perry Technical institute. Prior to that I was a caregiver for developmentally disabled adults for 12 years and truly loved the people I supported. I am so proud to be a part of the team at Mountainview Home Health my job is more of a behind the scenes role, but still important. I am proud to work for a company truly committed to the success of their patients and who really values their employees. I am a proud mom of two boys, trips to the beach are a favorite in my house.
